Beijing New World Hotel, Hanting Hotel on Fangyuan South Street, Chaoyang, Beijing, and greenhaotai Hotel, Ninghai, Zhejiang were listed on the black list because of unqualified health.
According to the circular, in view of the health problems exposed in accommodation public places, the National Health Commission deployed to carry out special rectification on the health of accommodation places in early 2019. According to the requirements, all localities focus on standardizing the hygienic cleaning of guest rooms and the cleaning, disinfection and cleaning of public supplies and appliances.
As of March 31, 2019, local health departments had reported 157011 accommodation places for supervision and inspection, ordered 25868 units to make rectification, and filed 3474 units for investigation and punishment according to law.
The reporter noted that there were many well-known chain hotels in the notified list, such as Beijing New World Hotel and Zhejiang Ninghai greenhouse Hotel, which were notified due to a number of violations, including failing to clean, disinfect and clean customers' supplies and appliances in accordance with the regulations. Hanting Hotel, Fangyuan South Street, Chaoyang District, Beijing was investigated and reported for many violations from March 2018 to March 2019.
The National Health Commission requires all localities to track the implementation of rectification for the accommodation places with multiple violations investigated and dealt with during the special rectification period. Those who refuse to rectify within the time limit or still fail to meet the requirements after rectification shall be resolutely punished severely according to law and severely crack down on violations of laws and regulations.
At the same time, it is necessary to improve the comprehensive supervision measures. For the accommodation places that have been investigated and punished for many violations within the jurisdiction within a year, it is necessary to take measures such as interviewing the person in charge of the enterprise, increasing the frequency of random inspection, publicizing the results of law enforcement, exposing illegal acts to the society, so as to form an effective deterrent and maintain a good hygienic environment in the accommodation places.
