The May 4th Movement was a student movement dominated by young students in Beijing on May 4, 1919. It is a patriotic movement of the Chinese people against imperialism and feudalism. 1、 International Youth Day
International Youth Day is a festival initiated by the United Nations. The first International Youth Day was on August 12, 2000. In 1999, the United Nations adopted resolution 54 / 120, which designated August 12 as International Youth Day every year. The establishment of International Youth Day provides an opportunity for governments to pay attention to youth issues. On the International Youth Day, all localities will hold various forms of celebrations such as concerts, seminars, cultural activities and conferences, which are usually attended by local government officials.
2、 China US International Youth Day
The first China US International Youth Festival was held in China from July 12, 2011 to August 6, 2011. The youth day provides a good exchange platform for the youth of China and the United States through the global development Youth Summit, American youth public welfare support education and China US cultural exchanges, so as to promote common growth and cultural exchange. In the first youth festival, the organizing committee successfully recruited 60 outstanding student representatives from American colleges and universities, and funded all representatives to participate in the youth festival in the form of public welfare sponsorship to teach English and introduce American culture to Chinese students of different ages, broaden students' horizons and stimulate innovative thinking. The footprint of voluntary service is all over Beijing, Shenyang, Shijiazhuang, Dalian, Datong and other cities, with an audience of more than 1000 people.
