"When it rained, there was a strong wind, and the boat began to spin. We couldn't stand it. My wife and I immediately opened the life raft, jumped up to escape, and tied up the lights for rescue." Li Gui, the rescued fisherman, told Yangcheng that at that time, he drove yuemao Binyu No. 23291 to take shelter from the wind about 300 meters outside the left breakwater of dawanshan port, Wanshan District, Zhuhai. The ship tilted and sank rapidly due to the strong sea cyclone. He and his wife jumped out of the boat and escaped. At 21:50 on the same day, he was successfully rescued by Yuezhu Yuyun No. 23291. It has been settled in Wanshan Town, and personnel from all departments have gone to express condolences and understand the situation.
At the same time, on April 19, the frontier inspection department connected the alarm. The family members of the crew of Zhuxiang 1746 called the police and said that his brother's ship set out from Cheung Chau, Hong Kong at 13:00 on the 18th for Wanshan fishing boat. The specific location is unknown. So far, the eight crew members on board are still missing.
It is understood that the lost ship is Zhuxiang 1746, 26.5 meters long and 165.97 tons gross tonnage. There are 3 Hong Kong nationals and 5 mainland personnel on board. At present, they can not be contacted.
Looking for the lost ship
After receiving the report, many departments in Zhuhai attached great importance to it and quickly started the emergency response mechanism to comprehensively search and rescue the lost ships and personnel. There are six international waterways in the sea area of the incident, among which the sea surface is windy and rough. Zhuhai entry-exit frontier inspection station, Wanshan frontier inspection station, Zhuhai Public Security Frontier detachment, Zhuhai fishery administration detachment, Zhuhai Maritime Safety Bureau, Zhuhai maritime search and rescue center The South China Sea Rescue Bureau, Nanyi flight rescue team and other departments sent boats and helicopters to carry out carpet search and rescue on the surrounding 305 square kilometers of sea area and 53 kilometers of coastline, and mobilized 10 surrounding fishing boats to join the search and rescue team. At the request of the search and rescue team, the HKSAR government sent a plane to join the search and rescue.
