What is Dahongpao series?

Dahongpao is a variety of Wuyi rock tea. There are six mother trees in jiulongke for more than 360 years. The Dahongpao we drink now is grafted from the mother tree, which is divided into pure Dahongpao and combined Dahongpao.

Dahongpao not only has beautiful legends, but also its excellent quality is more intriguing. Dahongpao production area has a mild climate, warm in winter and cool in summer. The annual average temperature is between 18 ℃ - 18.5 ℃, and there is abundant rainfall, with an annual rainfall of about 2000 mm. The mountains are filled with clouds all year round, and the annual average relative humidity is about 80%.

What are the three levels of Dahongpao?

The new national standard for Wuyi rock tea, which has been implemented since December 1, 2006, cancels the division of raw material production areas and tea variety classification of Wuyi rock tea, and increases the grade division of Dahongpao products. The standard establishes three levels of Dahongpao, namely super level, level I and level II.

Super red robe

The appearance is neat, clean, with precious color or oily, the aroma is sharp, thick, long or quiet, Qingyuan, and the taste is clear, mellow, solid, sweet and refreshing. There is aroma at the bottom of the cup. At the same time, the super Dahongpao soup is clear, gorgeous, dark orange yellow, and the leaf bottom is soft, bright and even, with red edge or cinnabar color.

First class Dahongpao

The appearance is tight, strong and slightly twisted, with a little treasure color or oil run, and the whole is relatively neat. In terms of aroma, it is thick, long or quiet and Qingyuan. In terms of taste, the rock rhyme is obvious, mellow, sweet and fast, and there is a lingering fragrance at the bottom of the cup. The soup color is clear, gorgeous and dark orange yellow, and the leaf bottom is soft, bright and even, with red edge or cinnabar color.

Class II Dahongpao

The appearance, color, aroma and leaf bottom are much worse than the first two, but in taste, there is still rock rhyme, mellow, fast return to sweetness, and lingering fragrance at the bottom of the cup.
