The prevention of sudden cardiac death is only one step away from the danger

How to prevent sudden cardiac death? How to give first aid quickly when you find that people around you have heart discomfort?

How to quickly rescue sudden cardiac death

In case of sudden cardiac death, in addition to calling 120 for help in time, if people around the patient also know the correct rescue methods, the patient will have the hope of 'bringing the dead back to life'. The correct first aid measure is cardiopulmonary resuscitation. There are three basic steps: unobstructed airway, artificial respiration and artificial circulation.

First, keep the patient's airway unobstructed. Place the patient on a hard flat plate and take the supine position. The rescuer tilts the patient's head back with both hands, supports the mandibular joint, removes oral foreign bodies, keeps the patient's airway unobstructed, and prevents the relaxed tongue from leaning back to block the airway during sudden death.

Second, carry out artificial respiration to maintain the patient's respiratory function, so as to ensure the aerobic metabolism of the main organs of the body, especially the brain, protect the respiratory center function and prevent brain edema. The rescuer pinched the patient's nostrils with one hand, inhaled deeply, and then blew the gas mouth to mouth into the patient's mouth at the speed of 20 times per minute.

Third, the first aid of artificial circulation mainly includes three aspects: extrathoracic cardiac compression, DC defibrillation and intravenous or intracardiac injection of drugs. The first aid for patients by their families is mainly extrathoracic cardiac compression. The method of cardiac compression should be correct. The two palms of the rescuer should be overlapped at the lower part of the patient's sternum and the midpoint of the connecting line between the two nipples. Keep the main pressure on the sternum to reduce the occurrence of rib fracture. When pressing, both arms should be straight and the force should be stable and uniform. The pressure should be large enough to lower the sternum by 3 ~ 5cm, then relax suddenly and press at the rate of 60 ~ 70 times / min, Press continuously. After effective pressing, you can touch the pulsation of the patient's carotid artery or femoral artery and see that the patient's dilated pupils begin to shrink.

Among them, artificial respiration and extrathoracic cardiac compression can be carried out repeatedly in the proportion of 2 / 30, and pay attention to the patient's response.

How to prevent sudden cardiac death

1. Quit smoking and limit alcohol. The incidence of sudden death in smokers is more than 4 times higher than that in non-smokers. The incidence of sudden death is directly proportional to the number of cigarettes smoked every day. At the same time, excessive drinking, especially drunkenness, is easy to induce ventricular tachycardia and ventricular fibrillation, which increases the risk of sudden death.

2. Stay away from the 'three highs' People with "three highs" (hypertension, hyperlipidemia and hyperglycemia) should be actively treated under the guidance of professional doctors to meet the blood pressure, blood lipid and blood glucose standards as soon as possible.

3. The diet is light. Eating too much meat, especially red meat, increases the risk of sudden death.

4. Regular movement. Regular and moderate exercise is helpful to prevent coronary heart disease, while inappropriate vigorous exercise will increase the risk of sudden cardiac death for people with high risk factors of coronary heart disease. Because strenuous exercise will increase the burden on the heart, easily induce ventricular fibrillation and even lead to sudden death.

5. Weight control. When the weight of men is 20% higher than the ideal weight, the risk of death is 25% higher than that of the general population; When men's weight is 30% higher than their ideal weight, their risk of death is 42% higher than that of the general population.

6. Get enough sleep. In case of sleep disorder, it must be adjusted and treated in time. The study found that 30 minutes of nap each day reduced the incidence rate of myocardial infarction and the risk of death by 30%.

7. Learn first aid. After sudden death, the effective rescue time is very short, only 7-10 minutes! After sudden death, if there is no effective treatment within 2-4 minutes, irreversible damage will occur to the brain, and people will die after more than 8 minutes. When someone is found to fall to the ground due to sudden loss of consciousness, immediately make him lie flat, pat him on the cheek and call, and touch his carotid artery with his hand to determine whether there is pulsation. If there is no response and no arterial pulsation, immediately carry out cardiopulmonary resuscitation and call 120 emergency telephone at the same time.

8. Prevent constipation. When constipated people defecate hard, it will cause the increase of blood pressure and oxygen consumption, which can easily lead to intracerebral hemorrhage, angina pectoris and myocardial infarction, and induce sudden death.
