How to trim the grass of the lawn is the best

What we are pursuing now is not high-rise buildings, cold buildings, but buildings with vitality, green and pleasant mood. So now many buildings will begin to have one of the most important places, that is, green buildings. Many will plant flowers and plants on the balcony. So, if it is a large area of lawn, how should we trim it? After all, the growth rate of grass is very fast. It must be intervened to make people more happy.

1. The suitable stubble height of lawn grass shall be determined according to the physiological and morphological characteristics and use purpose of lawn grass, and shall not affect the normal growth, development and function of lawn. Generally, the stubble height of lawn grass is 4 cm to 5 cm. The stubble height of lawn with partial shading and serious damage should be higher. The newly sown grass is trimmed for the first time, and the stubble is generally 6 cm to 7 cm.

2. The mowed grass scraps must be cleaned in time, especially when the humidity is slightly high. Because the left grass debris is conducive to the breeding of weeds, easy to cause the infection and prevalence of diseases and pests, and also easy to block the ventilation of the lawn and cause the premature degradation of the lawn.

3. In summer with appropriate temperature and abundant rainfall, the cold season lawn grass needs to be trimmed twice a week, and the warm season lawn grass needs to be trimmed frequently. In other seasons, the growth of turfgrass slows down due to low temperature. The cold season turfgrass can be trimmed once a week, and the days between the warm season turfgrass should be appropriately increased.

4. Pruning shall be carried out after the dew subsides. Generally, it is not suitable to water the afternoon of the day before pruning. After pruning, it shall be watered at an interval of 2 to 3 hours to prevent the spread of diseases.

5. The same lawn shall be trimmed in the same direction every time, and the direction shall be changed. Prevent repeated pruning in the same direction at the same place, otherwise the lawn will become thin, unbalanced growth and gradually degenerate.

6. Pruning must follow the '1 / 3' principle (1 / 3 of the natural height of the grass). If the lawn grows too high due to poor management, it should be trimmed to the stubble height gradually, rather than to the standard height at one time, otherwise it will lead to too much loss of photosynthetic tube and weakening of photosynthetic capacity. At the same time, it will also lose too much nutrients stored above and below the ground, making the lawn yellow, weak and even dead.
