Poverty will leave a mark on the gene. Is poverty born?

Recently, Northwestern University found that poverty can be embedded in a large area of the genome, leaving a mark on nearly 10% of the genes in the human genome.

Studies have shown that low socio-economic status is related to the level of DNA methylation. DNA methylation is formed day after tomorrow and is a genetic imprint that can potentially affect gene expression. However, the mechanism by which genes will remember poverty has not been revealed.
