Thanksgiving Day is an ancient festival created by the American people. It is also a festival for Americans to get together. In 1879, the Canadian Parliament declared November 6 as Thanksgiving and a national holiday. In the following years, the date of Thanksgiving changed many times until January 31, 1957, the Canadian Parliament declared the second Monday of October as Thanksgiving.
In addition to the United States and Canada, Egypt, Greece and other countries in the world have their own unique Thanksgiving, but the United Kingdom, France and other European countries are insulated from Thanksgiving. Some scholars also propose to establish 'Chinese Thanksgiving' to carry forward traditional culture.
