How to maintain cashmere overcoat
Four seas net: precious and fragile cashmere coat should pay attention to maintenance methods, because cashmere itself is protein fiber, it is easy to be moth eaten or damp moldy, let's see how to maintain cashmere.
1、 Washing
1. Generally, it is not allowed to wash, and the cashmere coat may be deformed or shrunk due to rubbing or machine washing.
2. Dry cleaning should be used. Dry cleaning is anhydrous washing, and organic solvent is used as detergent and washing liquid. After dry cleaning, cashmere coat will not deform and fade, and has little damage to fiber.
Dry cleaning should choose a regular and reliable dry cleaning shop, such as the use of fake dry cleaning solution or poor drying method will cause fabric color change, fabric shrinkage, clothing deformation.
If hand washing is necessary, the method is as follows:
1. Measure the sleeve length, length and shoulder width of the overcoat. After washing, if it shrinks, it can be ironed back to its original shape, so record the original size first.
2. Put the special lotion into 35 ℃ water to mix well, and soak the soaked cashmere coat for 15-30 minutes, then use high concentration lotion at the key dirty places and neckline and cuff, take the method of squeezing and kneading to wash, and gently pat and knead the rest parts（ If you don't have a special cleaning agent, you can use a shampoo instead. It works very well.)
3. Jacquard or multicolor cashmere overcoats should not be soaked, and cashmere overcoats of different colors should not be washed together to avoid staining;
4. Rinse with clean water at about 30 ℃. After washing, put the supporting softener in according to the specified amount, and the hand feeling will be better;
5. Squeeze out the water in the washed cashmere coat, put it into the net pocket (or wrapped with gauze towel) and dehydrate it in the dehydrating cylinder of the washing machine;
6. Lay the dehydrated cashmere coat flat and dry it in the air, and make it into a prototype by hand to dry in the shade. Do not hang it in the sun;
7. When the cashmere coat is fast dry, it can be ironed with steam at medium temperature (about 140 ℃) to return to the original size. The distance between the iron and the cashmere coat is 0.5-1cm. Do not press on it. If other irons are used, wet towel must be padded (or hand shaping can be used when the clothes are not completely dry, and do not iron after drying).
This way after washing, can avoid cashmere coat shrinkage or deformation.
2、 Ironing
1. Ironing is the 'heat setting' of washed clothes under certain temperature, pressure and moisture conditions, so as to make the clothes flat, smooth and straight.
The ironing temperature should be controlled at 160C & deg; Steam ironing is the best way to achieve the best ironing effect.
2. Steam ironing should be carried out 1-2cm away from cashmere coat; Or cover a towel on the sweater and iron it; This will not hurt the cashmere fiber, and will not leave traces of ironing.
It is not suitable for dry ironing and ironing, so as to avoid aurora.
3. Ironing clothes can not be ironed to absolute dryness, water content of about 5% is appropriate, after ironing hang clothes rack natural dry, more natural and soft.
3、 Daily care
1. During daily wearing, take off and hang the hanger at night to avoid squeezing or wrinkles. Timely replacement is the best way to keep the clothing fresh and style.
2. Level the wrinkles
One of the characteristics of cashmere is its excellent 'elasticity'. As long as enough humidity is given, it can return to its former appearance. If there are wrinkles, iron them.
3. Opening of collar and cuff
Cashmere overcoats are woven with thread after thread. If one thread is broken, other parts of the overcoat may be broken. The easiest part to open is the neckline, cuff and shoulder joint.
If there is open thread, use a small needle, choose the wool of the same color system, and connect the needle holes one by one.
