May day diary, visit Shaolin Temple

When may day comes, most people go out to play, relax and travel. Let's talk about my family. My father and mother and I went to Shaolin Temple. Journal 500 words

As far as I know, Shaolin Temple has a history of more than 1500 years. It is known as the 'No.1 temple in the world'. It is the birthplace of Zen Buddhism, the world-renowned birthplace of Shaolin martial arts, and one of the main representatives of Songshan culture. On the way to the temple, looking at the mountains on both sides of the road, I was very excited. I jumped straight because I wanted to go to Shaolin temple for a long time. Today, I finally had a chance to see the scenery.

There are so many people in Shaolin Temple! It can be said that there are so many people, so I followed my parents closely, for fear that I would be separated from my family if I didn't pay attention. My father said that there are seven courtyards in Shaolin Temple, which are: the gate, the temple of heaven, the hall of Mahavira, the hall of Dharma, the Abbot's room, the snow Pavilion and the hall of Thousand Buddhas. As we walked along with the flow of people, we first saw a very familiar scene in the film, that is, the three characters "Shaolin Temple" on the forehead of the mountain gate, written by Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty. When I entered the mountain gate, I saw Maitreya Buddha with big belly and a lot of laughs. It is called "Buddha with big belly". Secondly, there are many inscriptions and ancient trees of different periods on both sides of the mountain gate. There are also some finger sized holes on the ancient trees. I heard the introduction before I knew that it was the seal left by practicing the "one finger zen" skill. Further on, there are two sculptured generals "hum" and "ha" outside the hall. Their duty is to protect the Buddha Dharma. Inside the hall are the four heavenly kings in charge of good weather. Behind the heavenly king's hall is the Mahavira hall, where monks gather Lu to practice. The hall is dedicated to the third Buddha, the present Buddha, the past Buddha and the future Buddha. The Dharma hall is located behind the Mahavira hall. It is the place where the eminent monks give lectures. In the Dharma hall, a large white marble Sleeping Buddha is particularly noticeable After that, the Abbot's room and the snow Pavilion in memory of Huike were built. According to legend, when Dharma arrived at the Shaolin Temple, the eminent monk Shengguang asked for Dharma's advice modestly and was refused, but he didn't lose heart. He followed Dharma to take good care of him. A year later, Dharma said to Shengguang: 'I will pass the Dharma to you unless there is red snow in the sky. "After hearing this, God light took out his knife and cut off his left arm. The blood stained the white snow. Dharma accepted him as Huike. That's why some people said that the snow pavilion was to commemorate Huike. This story also tells me a truth: no matter what you do, you should stick to it. Finally, it is the thousand Buddha Hall named after the mural of five hundred Arhats. There are also footpits for monks to practice martial arts in the hall. Looking at these pits, I imagine that the situation of monks practicing martial arts emerges before my eyes.

Out of the Shaolin Temple, often hospitalized, 300 meters to the west is the Tallinn. Dad said that the pagoda is a tomb, which has ashes or cloisters. There are many kinds of pagodas with different shapes and numbers. There are 232 ancient pagodas, like a mystery palace.

When I went home, my mother bought me a cultural shirt, knife and a small toy printed with the words "Shaolin Temple".

When I got home, I felt a bit sore in my feet. But I learned knowledge and had a good time. Maybe it's "pain and happiness". It seems that I will strengthen my exercise later. Finally, I hope you have a happy may day.
