On the morning of July 31, my mother and grandmother and I went to our Yingjiang temple in Anqing.

ZHENFENG tower was built in 1570 ad. it is an ancient tower more than 400 years ago, with a height of 72. 74 meters, famous in the Yangtze River Basin, is the symbol of Anqing city. It has the reputation of "not talking about the tower after anqing" and "the first tower of the Yangtze River". I went up the tower with reverence and curiosity. The stairs in the tower were very steep and uneven. I had to climb up carefully with the railing. On the second floor, a Maitreya Buddha sits there, and several Buddha statues are carved on the surrounding walls. It turns out that the structure of the tower is very exquisite. Buddha statues are enshrined in each floor, and even small brick Buddha statues are enshrined on the ceiling of the stairs, which is exquisite and simple. The most interesting thing is that each floor of the tower is like a maze. The stairs up and down are not connected together. You have to turn around in the aisle on each floor to find the way up or down. The tower has seven floors. We finally climbed to the top of the tower and saw a very thick Tongxin wooden column. Unfortunately, the Tongxin column was engraved with visitors' messages, which seemed very uncivilized. Looking out from the top of the tower, I can see the buildings of Yingjiang temple. The beautiful water waves of the Yangtze River are gentle and flow forward quietly. There are ships parked on the river. The river wind blows in bursts and is extremely cool. Such a scenery really makes me relaxed and happy.
After visiting Zhenfeng tower, I am very excited. I am proud of the wisdom and superb architectural art of the ancients, and also proud of such a tall, beautiful and magnificent ancient tower in my hometown. When my father and I were going to climb the seventh floor, we found that the door was locked and closed to tourists. My father and I had to go down the pagoda while there were few people.
