What is twenty-four Simplified Taijiquan? Be careful of its practice points

Taijiquan has a long history in our country. Nowadays, more and more people practice Taijiquan in ordinary times, which belongs to simplified moves. Therefore, this paper will introduce the key points of 24 Simplified Taijiquan Exercises.

Simplified Taijiquan is one of the traditional boxing techniques of the Han nationality, which belongs to the simple Taijiquan routine after the founding of the people's Republic of China. In order to facilitate the promotion of Taijiquan among the masses, in 1956, on the basis of Yang Style Taijiquan, the complex and repetitive movements were deleted, and 24 styles were selected to make up "Simplified Taijiquan". In order to meet the needs of the masses in practicing boxing, the Sports Committee of the people's Republic of China drew on the advantages of Chen style, Yang style, Wu style and Wu Style Taijiquan in 1979 and compiled "48 style Simplified Taijiquan".

The simple routine of Taijiquan is a kind of folk boxing of Han nationality. In 1956, the State Sports Commission organized some experts, on the basis of the traditional Yang Style Taijiquan, according to the principles of "from simplicity to complexity, step by step, easy to learn and easy to remember", to eliminate the difficulties and repetitive actions, and selected 24 styles to compile "Simplified Taijiquan". There are four parts in the whole set, and one set can be completed in about 5 minutes. The main actions are: Mustang's mane, knee holding and bending step, rolling back the brachial shed, stroking and pressing, single whip, cloud hand, left and right foot pedaling, independent shuttle, submarine needle, flashing arm, moving block hammer, etc. Key points:

1. The real and the false are distinct. In order to achieve the goal of "moving like spinning and walking like a cat", we should first pay attention to the appropriate transformation of the virtual and the real, so that there is no instability in the movement of all parts of the body. If we can't maintain the balance and stability, we can't talk about "walking like a cat". Generally speaking, the legs that mainly support the weight of the lower limbs are solid, the legs that assist in supporting or moving for changing steps are virtual; the upper limbs are solid with the arms that embody the main content of the action, and the arms that assist in cooperating are virtual. In a word, the real and the virtual should not only penetrate each other, but also change flexibly under the guidance of consciousness.

2. Breathe naturally. The breathing methods of Taijiquan are natural breathing, abdominal straight breathing, abdominal reverse breathing and fist breathing. No matter which one of the above breathing methods is used, it should be natural, even and fine, slowly huff and puff, and naturally cooperate with the action. Beginners should use natural respiration.

3. The heart is still and the body is loose. The so-called "peace of mind" means that when practicing Taijiquan, you should eliminate all distractions in your mind and not be interfered by the outside world. The so-called "body relaxation" means that you can consciously relax your joints, muscles and internal organs to the maximum extent on the basis of keeping your body posture correct.

4. Round and coherent. "Peace of mind and relaxation of body" is the basic requirement of Taijiquan practice. And whether to achieve "flexible and coherent" is the main basis to measure the depth of one's Kung Fu. The "coherence" required by Taijiquan practice refers to various aspects. One is the continuity of the body, which is called "joint penetration". The connection of the limbs is based on the waist. In the process of movement transformation, it is required that: for the lower limbs, the belt should be used to cross, the knee should be used to cross, and the foot should be used to knee; for the upper limbs, the belt should be used to back, the shoulder should be used to back, the elbow should be used to shoulder, and the hand should be used to elbow. The second is the connection between action and action, that is, "potential connected" -- the end of the previous action is the beginning of the next action, and there is no break or pause between potential and action. "Yuanhuo" is a further requirement on the basis of coherence, which means to live smoothly and naturally.

After reading the introduction above, I believe that you have already understood the problem of what 24 Simplified Taijiquan is. In fact, when practicing 24 Simplified Taijiquan, if you want to strengthen your body by practicing martial arts, you need to keep the above four key points in mind.
