Do you know how to protect yourself from the sun? Six mistakes should be avoided in daily sun protec

Misunderstanding of sunscreen 1: sunscreen only in summer

UVA is long wave ultraviolet and UVB is medium wave ultraviolet, both of which can penetrate into human skin and dermis to make skin tan. However, UVA is not blocked by windows, sunshades and so on. It has power even in rainy days, while UVB can be blocked by clouds, glass, clothes, umbrellas and so on.

That is to say, UVB usually exists outdoors and is more intense in summer or sunny days. And UVA is no matter whether it's sunny or rainy all the year round, indoor or outdoor. So, even if you stand outdoors in the cloudy day in winter, although you won't feel your skin is tanned, the effect of UVA will slowly accumulate in your skin, which will accelerate your aging. Now you know why it's not summer to protect yourself from the sun!

Myth 2: the larger the SPF value, the better

SPF refers to the protection of UVB, and the coefficient after SPF value indicates that it can prolong the time of skin sunburn by UVB. The larger the coefficient is, the longer the sunburn time is, but it does not mean that the sun protection effect is better. Because the products with higher SPF contain more sunscreens, and the harm of these increased sunscreens to the skin is inevitable, which is also the reason why many people will be allergic to skin products after using high coefficient SPF sunscreen.

Myth 3: just a few minutes before going out

After sunscreen is applied, it needs a certain time to form a film on the skin surface before it can play a role. According to the different dosage forms, the formation time is different, so sunscreen must be applied in advance before going out, preferably 30 minutes in advance.

Myth 4: direct sun protection

Sunscreen is the last step of skin care and maintenance, and the first step of color make-up. Do not try to simplify the steps. If sunscreen is applied directly to the face without lipid protection, it will make the powder more likely to block the pores, causing acne and acne. And if it is a sunscreen with a high proportion of chemical sunscreen ingredients, it will also cause more direct stimulation to the skin after absorption and decomposition of sunlight.

Myth 5: sunscreen without makeup removal

The purpose of removing makeup is to clean all sunscreen products applied on the face. Generally speaking, ordinary sunscreen products do not need to remove makeup, with facial cleanser can be completely cleaned. But for some greasy sunscreen products, it is difficult to wash the facial cleanser (the face is still greasy after washing), in this case, you need to remove makeup. After makeup, pay attention to moisturizing, applying toner and cream.

Myth 6: sunscreen once a day

The general sunscreen is 30 minutes perspiration proof and 80 minutes waterproof. If you want to go out and know that you will be in the sun for a long time, you should take sunscreen with you, and then rub it every hour.

If sunscreen is used to cover the whole face, it needs to use about 1ml at a time, and about 30ml for the whole body.
