Angora rabbit with the longest hair in the world

Betty Chu, a woman from San Jose, California, has raised 50 Angora Angora Angora Angora rabbits, one of which has the longest fur in the world, with a hair length of 15 inches.

Ms. Chu is 70 years old. In the past 34 years, she has been extremely persistent in raising Angora rabbits. Because someone had to take care of them at home, Ms. Chu last went on holiday with her husband in 1992.

Ms. Chu takes part in more than 50 rabbit shows every year. She is the undisputed queen among the people who raise Angora rabbits and has won numerous best show awards. Last year, Ms. Chu's rabbit, Francesca, was recognized by Guinness World Records as the world's longest hairy rabbit, which also attracted media attention.

The American Rabbit Breeders Association recognizes four major lineages: British Angora rabbit, French Angora rabbit, giant Angora rabbit and satin Angora rabbit.
