Japan's biggest hourglass in the world

According to the museum, the 'sand calendar' is 5.2 meters high and 1 meter in diameter. A ton of loud sand from FanFeng Town, Yamagata Prefecture, Japan, fell for a year. "Sand calendar" was officially launched at 0:00 a.m. on January 1, 1991, and appeared in the cartoon sand hour meter, which was adapted into the film of the same name in 2008.

Previously, the hourglass made by Americans with a height of 1.06 meters and a diameter of 38 cm was selected into the Guinness world record.
