The largest natural skating rink in the world & Lake ndash; lipuno
There is a natural frozen rink in the Czech Republic, which stretches 10.9 kilometers (6.83 miles) long and only six to eight meters (8,7 yards) wide. It is the largest natural frozen rink in the Guinness world record.
In summer, it's a good place for swimming, fishing and sailors. In winter, there are also good places for skating and skiing.
Lake lipuno froze in December and did not thaw until March of the following year. Once the lake is frozen, it becomes a good skating track, which is one of the best skating tracks in the Czech Republic, 11 kilometers long.
There is a snack bar on the track beside the river liponovolta, offering hot drinks and special barbecue.
Lipno's boom, over the past two decades, has been largely due to Dutch investors investing in the region.
