In San Sebastian gomela, Tenerife, Madrid, Spain, police found a 22 foot (7 meter) long beehive in an abandoned house, making it the largest beehive in the world. After police found the hive, they sealed off the house to determine who its owner was. Experts say that wasps are considered to have migrated from Africa to Spain, and generally do not build such a large-scale hive.
