The hottest place on earth, the lute desert

the hottest place on earth is the "dasht-e LUT" in the southeast of Iran. In 2005, the temperature measured by the satellite sensor was as high as 70.7c. This is the world's highest temperature ever monitored on earth.

Lute desert is located in Iran, covering an area of about 480 square kilometers, known as "roasted wheat". The reason why the temperature here is so high is that the surface is covered by black volcanic lava, which is easy to absorb the heat from the sun.
