Shijiazhuang Institute of economics to be renamed: Hebei University of Geosciences
Shijiazhuang Institute of economics, founded in 1953, was formerly affiliated to the Ministry of land and resources. In June 1985, the school moved from Xuanhua to Shijiazhuang, the capital of Hebei Province. In April 1996, it was renamed Shijiazhuang Institute of economics. In 2000, after the reform of the national higher education system, it was jointly established by the central government and Hebei Province, with Hebei Province as the main management. On May 23, 2013, the Ministry of land and resources and the people's Government of Hebei Province signed the agreement of "province ministry co construction of Shijiazhuang Institute of economics", and the University became a University jointly built by the province and ministry.
Hebei College of engineering and technology to be renamed: Hebei University of water resources and electric power
Hebei College of engineering and technology is located in Cangzhou City, Hebei Province, which is directly under the Department of education of Hebei Province. The school was founded in Tianjin in 1952, and then moved to its site. The name of the school was Hebei University of hydropower and Hebei University of water conservancy. In 1970, it moved to Cangzhou City, and its name was Hebei Water Conservancy College, referred to as "Hebei Water Conservancy College". In 1992, with the approval of the former State Education Commission, the name of the school was determined as Hebei College of engineering technology, referred to as "Hebei Institute of technology".
Xingtai medical college to be renamed: Hebei Nursing College
Xingtai medical college was founded in 1964 and named as Xingtai Health School of Hebei Province. In 1970, the school was reopened and renamed as Xingtai district health school in Hebei Province. In 1993, Xingtai City was merged and renamed as Xingtai health school. In 2001, the relocation and expansion project was started, and the original Xingtai health workers secondary professional school was merged into the project. In 2002, the school was upgraded to Xingtai Medical College by the Ministry of education.
China Environmental Management Cadre College to be renamed: Hebei Institute of Environmental Engineering
China Environmental Management Cadre College is a full-time institution of higher learning approved by the State Environmental Protection Administration and filed by the Ministry of education in 1981. It is located in Beidaihe District, Qinhuangdao. It is one of the earliest universities to carry out environmental education in China. It is known as the "highest institution of learning" in China's environmental protection system and the "Huangpu Military Academy" for training environmental protection talents.
The school was founded in 1958 in Beijing, formerly known as Beijing Electric Power Institute. In 1969, he moved from Beijing to Hebei Province, and successively renamed Hebei Electric Power University and North China Electric Power University. Hebei University
Founded in 1921, Tianjin Industrial and Commercial University was founded by the French Catholic Jesuit Church. The school is located at 141 Machang Road, Tianjin. Hebei Normal University
Hebei Normal University is a provincial key university jointly established by the people's Government of Hebei Province and the Ministry of education. It has a history of more than 100 years and a glorious tradition of running a school. The school originated from shuntianfu school in Beijing in 1902 and Beiyang normal school in Tianjin in 1906. In June 1996, the former Hebei Normal University and Hebei Normal University merged with Hebei Institute of education founded in 1952 and Hebei Vocational and technical normal college founded in 1984 to form a new Hebei Normal University.
Yanshan University
Yanshan University originated from Harbin Institute of technology and was founded in 1920. In 2014, Hebei Province, the Ministry of industry and information technology and the Ministry of Education jointly built Yanshan University.
Hebei University of Technology
Hebei University of technology is located in Tianjin. Its predecessor is Beiyang technology school, which was established in 1903. In 1904, it was renamed Zhili higher industrial school. In 1912, it was renamed Zhili Institute of technology. In 1913, it was changed into Zhili public industrial school. In 1928, it was renamed "Hebei provincial industrial special school". In May 1929, it was upgraded to Hebei Provincial Institute of technology. In October 1946, it was renamed Hebei Provincial Institute of technology. In 1950, it was renamed Hebei Institute of technology. In July 1962, Hebei Institute of technology merged with Tianjin Institute of technology and was renamed Tianjin Institute of technology. In 1969, it was under the leadership of Hebei Province. It was renamed Hebei Institute of technology in 1971. In 1995, it was renamed Hebei University of technology.
Hebei Agricultural University
It is a comprehensive agricultural and Forestry University located in Baoding City, Hebei Province. Hebei Agricultural University was founded in 1902 A.D. (the 28th year of Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty). It is the earliest agricultural university in China, the earliest one in Hebei Province, one of the 100 colleges and universities of the Ministry of education's "infrastructure capacity construction project of colleges and universities in central and Western China", and a key university of Hebei Province (provincial key university). Hebei Agricultural University has experienced Zhili agricultural school, Zhili higher agricultural school, Hebei Provincial Agricultural College, Hebei Agricultural University and other historical periods.
North China University of Technology
Hebei Union University, the predecessor of North China University of science and technology, was jointly established by the former Hebei University of technology and North China Coal Medical College with the approval of the Ministry of education in May 2010. The predecessor of Hebei University of science and technology was the Mining Department of Beiyang Western learning school founded in 1895. The school was established in 1958. In 1959, the Department of mining and metallurgy of Tianjin University was incorporated into the system. The names of Tangshan Institute of mining and metallurgy, Hebei Institute of mining and metallurgy, Tangshan Institute of engineering and technology, and Hebei Institute of technology were used. The predecessor of North China Coal Medical College was Kailuan senior nursing vocational school founded in 1926 and began in 1963 The undergraduate system used to use the names of Tangshan Coal Mine Medical College and Hebei Medical College. It is the only undergraduate medical college under the former Ministry of coal industry. In order to realize the strong union and rapid development, Hebei United University was officially established in May 2010 with the approval of the Ministry of education. On February 13, 2015, the Ministry of education replied to the people's Government of Hebei Province, approving that Hebei United University be officially renamed North China University of technology.
Hebei Medical University is located in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. It is a provincial backbone university with a history of 100 years and a fine tradition of medical education. Its predecessor was Beiyang Medical College, which was approved by the Qing government in 1894. In May 1995, Hebei Medical College, Hebei College of traditional Chinese medicine and Shijiazhuang medical college merged to form a new Hebei Medical University.
Hebei University of economics and trade
Hebei University of economics and trade, located in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is one of the 11 key universities in Hebei Province. The Shijiazhuang Cooperative School of Hebei supply and marketing cooperative was founded in 1953. Shijiazhuang University
Shijiazhuang University, located in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is a public full-time regular undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of education. In December 1995, Shijiazhuang normal college was merged with Shijiazhuang No.1 and No.2 College of education to form a new Shijiazhuang normal college; on May 17, 2004, the Ministry of Education approved its upgrading to Shijiazhuang University, which is a regular university at the undergraduate level.
Hebei Media College
Hebei Media College is located in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. It was founded in 2000 and its predecessor was Shijiazhuang film and television art vocational college. In March 2005, the Ministry of Education approved the establishment of Hebei film and Television Art College at undergraduate level; in March 2007, the Ministry of Education approved the formal establishment of an undergraduate college, which was renamed Hebei Media College, becoming the first full-time private undergraduate college of media in Hebei Province.
Shijiazhuang Tiedao University
Shijiazhuang Railway University is located in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, formerly known as the Railway Corps Engineering College of the Chinese people's Liberation Army. It was founded in 1950 and was a key college of the Chinese people's Liberation Army at that time. In 1979, it was listed as a national key higher education institution. In 1984, it was transferred to the Ministry of Railways and renamed as Shijiazhuang Railway Institute. Hebei Academy of fine arts is located in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. It is the only regular full-time undergraduate art college in Hebei Province, which was founded in 1986. In May 2002, with the approval of the people's Government of Hebei Province and the record of the Ministry of education, a college was established. In March 2011, the college was upgraded to a full-time regular undergraduate college and renamed as Hebei Academy of fine arts.
Hebei Institute of foreign languages
Hebei Institute of foreign languages, located in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is the only independent private undergraduate foreign language university in Hebei Province. Its predecessor was Shijiazhuang Vocational College of foreign language translation, which was founded in 1998. In 2012, it was upgraded to an undergraduate college and renamed Hebei Foreign Languages University.

Hebei College of traditional Chinese medicine is located in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. It was founded in 1958 and is one of the earliest colleges and universities of traditional Chinese medicine in China. In 1995, Hebei Medical University was established with Hebei Medical College. In April 2013, with the approval of the Ministry of education, Hebei College of traditional Chinese medicine was established on the basis of College of traditional Chinese medicine of Hebei Medical University and Hebei Institute of traditional Chinese medicine, which is the only independent undergraduate college of traditional Chinese medicine in Hebei Province.
