Seals kill playful penguins, swallowing 12 birds a day

It is reported that the photographer captured a group of pictures of leopard seals hunting penguins in the port of lacoro, Antarctica.

A leopard seal lurks quietly beside penguins playing in shallow water. When it finds an unsuspecting penguin, it rushes over and bites the penguin's feet

And drag it to the deep water area, and then enjoy the delicious food.

Leopard seal, also known as leopard seal or leopard spotted seal, is the second largest seal in Antarctica.

They usually hunt Antarctic shrimp, squid and other small fish.

When they ambush in shallow water, they can hunt 12 penguins in a day.
