Otter preys on crab, but is attacked by crab claw

Andre sorlie, a 37 year old Norwegian amateur photographer, accidentally captured a picture of a crab holding the eyes of an otter tightly with pliers when he was on holiday on the island of Hitler last year. After being attacked, the otter showed a look of pain and help.

Andre is from Oslo, the capital of Norway. Last summer, when he visited his parents-in-law on the Norwegian island of Hitler, he captured this scene. He said: 'the house I live in is very close to the sea, so there is a beautiful view from here. I opened the window and looked out. I just saw an otter swimming, so I took my camera and went straight to the beach.

As the otter was a little far away from the Bay, I waited there, hoping that it could swim closer to me. However, after a few minutes, I saw an otter suddenly appear in front of me, and I was very surprised. '

He went on: 'I started taking pictures of this otter right away because I had the camera ready. After a while, I found that it was a little strange, because its face was always facing away from me. But it suddenly swam to my side, and I was surprised to find that a crab had gripped the otter's right eye with pliers.

The otter looked desperate for help, and I thought maybe I could help him. However, it then dived in front of me on the right side, and when it reappeared, it was nearly two meters away from me.

Then it dived and disappeared. I waited for a while, but they never showed up again. I don't know what happened to otters and crabs. Crabs in order to avoid being eaten by otters, perhaps the only way to protect themselves is to clamp their eyes tightly with pliers. But I think the otter will think twice when it attacks the crab in the future.
