Mexican photographer Alejandro Prieto recently photographed a group of giant crocodiles leaping out of the water to bite an adult green turtle in a nature reserve in southwestern Costa Rica, Central America, and completely subdue and drag it away to eat it.
According to the photographer, the whole hunting process lasted about 30 minutes. The blood left by the turtle even attracted a shark to look for food. This is the habitat of the American crocodile in Corcovado Park and the Pacific coast.
