On November 16, Houfu, a wild Chinese sturgeon, arrived at Beijing Aquarium for recuperation. This Chinese sturgeon is 3.41 meters long and weighs 310 kg. It is the largest wild Chinese sturgeon found in the past 20 years. It was captured by fishermen in the Yangtze River Basin on November 15, 2014. At that time, many parts of the body were injured and showed a state of imbalance, and then it was sent to the Yangtze River Fisheries Research Institute for rescue.

Due to weight weakness and eating difficulties, in order to help him recover as soon as possible, Changjiang Fisheries Research Institute and Beijing Aquarium decided to transport him to Beijing Aquarium for recuperation. The picture shows the workers lifting Houfu into the pool.

The picture shows the divers accompanying Houfu to make it adapt to the new environment as soon as possible.
