INMARSAT, the leader of the global mobile satellite communication network and the International Maritime Satellite Organization, issued a statement yesterday that it had handed over the satellite data to Malaysia Airlines.
Previously, the US media reported that after the mh370 disappeared from the civilian radar screen, the airborne equipment from the aircraft made intermittent data connection requests to INMARSAT operated satellites.
