The court on the tongue and sword
Fan Geng claims to be Chen Mengji's son, Chen Zhe. He really wants Jingquan to give evidence, but Jingquan ignores her. Siwei is slow in defending Youlai, which makes Qinggao impatient. Zhenzhen blurts out the reasons, but fan Geng refutes them one by one. Zhenzhen sees that the situation is not good, shouts out in the crowd that it is dark, and Qinggao postpones the case for retrial.
Zhenzhen and Xia houwu suspect that fan Geng deliberately approached them in order to spy on the military. Zhenzhen insists that fan Geng is not Mengji's son, but also that he has premeditated, unfriendly and betrayed his friends, which makes Zhou Ju uncomfortable.
Zhou Lan took an early rest to celebrate Zhou Ju's marriage, pointing out that fan Geng had promised to marry Zhou Ju when he came back. Zhou Ju goes to Pan's house to question fan Geng. Fan Geng claims that he is from two worlds. He also denies that he has agreed to marry Zhou Ju, and is even willing to pay Zhou Ju just like Gu Yixiang.
Fan Geng has no answer
Jingquan exposes fan Geng's efforts to investigate in Qingxin County, and makes Er Ming make a fool of himself in Zhuangyuan building. Fan Geng doesn't deny it, but because of his interests, Jingquan keeps him by his side. Jingquan tries to find out if he is really Mengji's son. Fan Geng doesn't say yes, and lets Jingquan decide the answer.
A Du tells Er Ming with a picture that Jing Quan chats with fan Geng over wine. Er Ming laments that he has been obedient to his father since he was a child, even though he was beaten and scolded by his father, because his father would look at him when he hit him, but now his father doesn't even look at him.
Yaowei made a shoe from the shoe print found by Xia houwu, and asked the whole county men to try it on. All the wearers were suspected of killing Mr. Yin. Zhenzhen goes to Yixiang hospital with Xia houwu to investigate the case. Suddenly, a strong wind blows. Xia houwu uses his body to keep Zhenzhen out of the wind. Zhenzhen feels very happy.
Guan Feng used to be a dream girl
After Baoxiang pours the night incense, Xia houwu learns from her that someone climbed into Yixiang courtyard on the night of the crime. Zhenzhen thinks that as long as Siwei tells a lie once, you can get rid of your sin.
