When people are still enjoying the 1080 HD era and looking forward to the arrival of 4K era, 5K has become a new concept again. At today's Dell business event, the Texas manufacturer showed off a new pair of displays. They are 55 inch Full HD widescreen display for conference call and 27 inch ultrasharp Ultra HD 5K display. As the world's first 27 inch 5K display, it has a resolution of 5120x2880 -- four times that of QHD, or seven times that of Full HD.
The ltrasharp 27 Ultra HD 5K display, equipped with Dell premiercolor technology and anti pollution and anti reflection edge to edge glass design, can bring accurate color and excellent image quality.
The new display also incorporates dual 16 watt Harman Kardon speakers, 6 x USB ports, and a card reader interface. The Dell ultrasharp 27 Ultra HD 5K display will be available in the fourth quarter of this year for $2499.99.
As for the full HD display of Dell 55 for video call applications, it is mainly designed to provide a conference solution with chrome box, but also supports any HDMI device. It has a contrast ratio of 3000:1 and a resolution of 1920x1080, although Dell has not yet announced its price.
