Google's new contact lens comes out with intelligent reminder to prevent fatigue driving and reduce

Google glasses recently launched a new contact lens product, which can adjust intelligently and greatly reduce the incidence of traffic accidents. The new app, drivesafe, uses an accelerometer built into Google's glasses to determine if the driver is dozing while holding the steering wheel. The design principle is simple and easy to use.

After saying 'OK glass, keep me awake' to the glasses, if the driver's head tilts at a certain angle for a long time, the bone conduction speaker of the glasses will give an alarm. If you are warned too many times, the drivesafe app will connect to the navigation app and automatically navigate to the nearest rest area.

Automakers are also developing similar technologies to alert long-distance drivers to take a break. Mercedes's similar technology monitors the driver's tiny movements when fatigue occurs by measuring the steering input, and pops up icons on the instrument cluster to remind the driver that it's time to rest. Audi and Infiniti are testing software based on eye tracking technology, which has not yet been released.

However, the drivesafe app goes beyond the brand's limits and is easy to use with Google glasses. Currently, drivesafe has not been integrated into myglass, so you need to download it separately if you want to use it.
