According to related US technology blogs, Microsoft may change the developer reward mechanism to attract more developers to develop applications for Windows Phone System, with a maximum reward of $100000.
In March this year, Microsoft launched its first application development award program, which stipulates that developers can receive $100 for each new application released in the windows app store before June 30, and the maximum reward for each developer is $2000.
According to people familiar with the matter, Microsoft has raised the ceiling to $100000 or more. Tom gruhler, Microsoft's chief marketing officer for Windows Phone, said 48 of the 50 apps with the most downloads had been launched in the windows phone store, with pinterest and instagram being the only ones yet to be released.
At present, there are 145000 apps in Windows Phone app store, which is far less than IOS and Android platforms. But Microsoft's move is undoubtedly very wise.
