Lotus in Hefei Botanical Garden: at present, the lotus breeding base of Hefei botanical garden has more than 460 varieties of lotus, which is a large-scale display base for artificial cultivation of lotus in Anhui Province, laying a good technical foundation for the cultivation and breeding of aquatic plants in Hefei and its surrounding areas. There are more than 5000 potted lotus plants in the water garden area and lotus breeding base in the park, and more than 100000 red lotus, space lotus, Wang lotus and blue water lily plants in 50 mu water surface. New varieties of lotus are increasing. The best time to watch lotus and water lily in summer is from 6 am to 9 am. If it is cloudy or drizzle, the effect is better.
