Aloe can blossom, but it is very rare to blossom. It must be in the appropriate temperature, humidity and light conditions to bloom. Sufficient water, light and high temperature are essential conditions for flowering.

There are many varieties of aloe, some varieties do not bloom, but some varieties can still bloom if they are well maintained. Aloe is a perennial evergreen succulent herb of Liliaceae, which has a wide range of adaptability and drought tolerance. Aloe vera, which grows in tropical areas, usually blooms in May. The height of flower branches is 30-40 cm, and occasionally more than 1 m. Aloe Vera growing in temperate areas, often flowers are not easy to see, aloe vera flowers are rarely seen, even if occasionally flowering branches are also very small. Generally, aloe vera planted for more than 3 years can produce beautiful yellow or red flowers. Unfortunately, many people have cultivated aloe for many years and never bloom. Therefore, it is not easy to make aloe blossom.

Aloe Vera has different flowering time for 3-4 years; Aloe plant in the growth process should have good sunlight, especially in summer to accept more light, and aloe roots to healthy growth, stem diameter of more than 2.2 cm, leaf length, thickness, plant height of more than 40 cm, suitable water, green leaves; to have enough nutrition, not lack of phosphate fertilizer.

In order to make Aloe Vera bloom in the same year, take Aloe arborescens as an example, select the robust plants cultivated for more than two years. Let it fully shine in summer, and don't get cold in November. This aloe, known as "the flower of the lunar month", will bloom at the end of the year or at the beginning of the next year.

Methods to promote the early flowering of Aloe Vera: in early September, cut the Aloe arborescens cultivated for more than two years from the center of the stem to the lower part of the node, leaving 5-7 leaves in the upper part, and the stem length of 7-8 cm is better. When cutting, the first stem node of the top growth point must be reserved, and 3-4 leaves should be left at the lower part of the cutting. The upper part of the cut should be dried for about 10-15 days, so as to reduce the moisture in the incision part. After cutting the part and drying in the shade, remove the two leaves close to the cutting part, and then insert them into the nutrient soil. After 40-50 days, they can take root. After 40-50 days, if it can't be pulled out, it means rooting. It should be noted that water should not be used before rooting after planting. According to this method, 50-60 small flowers can be seen in the next autumn. After the flowers bloom, the flower stems can be cut off from the bottom.

Aloe usually blooms once a year in the wild. The color of the flowers varies with the varieties of aloe, including vermilion, orange yellow and yellow. In the case of potted plants in the north, from late November to the next spring, aloe blooms from the bottom of the flower ear, and gradually blooms in order. The tip of the slender flower stem stretches into the sky. The blooming duration of aloe is very long, and the hot and bright flower pattern makes people happy.

If aloe grows smoothly and healthily, more than 90% of mature flowering plants will bloom. The main reasons why aloe does not bloom are lack of light, not changing flowerpots for a long time, and insufficient fertilizer, especially phosphate fertilizer.
