The cultivation method of Dendranthema morifolium (Aloe arborescens)

Longzhaoju, also known as Aloe arborescens, is a perennial plant. It is a strain of aloe family, and its scientific name is Aloe arborescens. Its medicinal value is higher than that of other groups in aloe family, ranking first. The chrysanthemum can only be processed into healthy food and cosmetics, but also has high pharmaceutical value, edible value and ornamental value. So many people like to plant and plant it now. What cultivation method does it have? Today, we will introduce the cultivation methods of Dendranthema.

1. Basin soil configuration: basin soil should have water holding, fertilizer retention and air permeability, pH value is between 6.8 and 7.0, we generally use humus soil plus rural soil and river sand (the ratio is 2:2:1), and then disinfect with 40% formalin, then seal it with plastic film for two days, and then dry it in the air.

2. On pot planting: flowerpots with different types of texture, such as clay pots, purple sand pots, porcelain pots, plastic pots, etc., can be used. Spring and summer on the basin is better, indoor temperature 15 to 28 degrees Celsius is good. Put some broken tiles at the bottom of the pot to facilitate drainage and ventilation. Then fill in the prepared basin soil, select strong seedlings, put the reed moss into the basin, so that the root system can be extended. After filling, the aloe seedling will be lifted up, compacted, righted and watered.

3. Slow seedling management: do not water or fertilize before turning green, otherwise the root will rot. The newly potted reed moss can not be exposed to direct sunlight. During this period, we should often spray water on the leaf surface, which can speed up the speed of turning green and rooting.

4. Maintenance management: after normal growth, fertilization and watering are the main aspects of daily maintenance. The growth of reed moss needs nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, boron, copper, zinc and organic fertilizer. Generally, liquid fertilizer or foliar spray is used. When the growth is fast in spring and autumn, fertilization is applied every half a month to a month. Although reed moss has strong drought resistance, it should be watered properly in the morning and evening, usually once every 15 to 20 days. The principle is "see dry see wet, see dry pour through". In summer, we can spray water on the leaf surface of the reed moss to keep the plant green and prevent the hot sun exposure.

5. Reasonable basin change: generally about two years, the reed moss should be changed. It is best to change the basin in spring. The reed moss and soil mass should be put into a larger new basin, and then the new soil should be added, compacted and watered, placed in the half shade, and then moved to the sunshine after the seedlings are slowly planted.

6. Pest control: reed moss is generally not easy to occur insect pests, and rarely occur diseases. However, the environment is not good, aloe leaf black spot disease and other diseases can be sprayed chlorothalonil control.

Propagation techniques of Dendranthema longicola

a. Material selection: aloe is propagated by cutting, top bud and lateral branch are propagation materials, branch propagation is easy to survive.

b. Matrix configuration: the best choice is loose, fertile, ventilated and well drained sandy loam.

c. Field propagation: field propagation, spring and autumn can be cuttings, the best temperature is 20 to 25 degrees Celsius, at this time the fastest rooting, and slow seedling period, short survival rate is relatively high. Cut the insert into the soil about 1 / 3 and compact with fine soil.

d. Pot cutting propagation: it is better to spread tile and coarse sand in the lower part of the flowerpot, and then fill it with loose loam and coarse sand, and fill it to about 2cm away from the basin surface, spray a small amount of cuttings, and then cut with two pieces per pot.

e. Seedling management: aloe is a drought tolerant flower. Water it 4 to 5 days after cutting to keep the soil moist. Do not water more. Before rooting, do not loosen the soil and fertilize. Generally, it will take root in about a month.
