The knowledge of peanut planting just pulled out of the ground is extended. 1. Peanut should be planted in a sandy area with warm climate and moderate rainfall, with a long growing season.

2. Peanut has a certain adaptability to slightly acidic soil. It is a pioneer crop for the development of red soil, but the higher soil acidity requires the application of calcium fertilizer such as lime to neutralize short day crops.

3. However, it is not sensitive to photoperiod and needs high heat. Only when the daily average temperature is above 12 ℃ can the seeds be sown. The temperature of 20-28 ℃ is required in the main growth period. When the temperature drops to about 11 ℃ in autumn, the pod stops developing.

4. The growth period of Chinese flower production area is 100-150 days. Some late maturing varieties can reach 180 days. Generally, the seed dormancy period of early maturing varieties is short. Late maturing varieties have a long dormancy period. The dormancy of Longsheng was the strongest. The dormancy of peanut seeds is not only affected by seed shadow, but also related to some hormones in embryo. The dormancy can be relieved by using the chemical substances such as ethephon agonin to sun seed and warm germination.
