Clivia (scientific name: Clivia), another name of sword leaf Lycoris, is an ornamental flower of Clivia in Lycoris family. Native to southern South Africa. Perennial herb with fleshy roots. The basal leaves are leathery, mostly, wide strip, and the leaf base is in two rows, closely embracing each other into bulb shape. Flowering in spring and summer, the scape is upright, flat, fleshy, terminal umbel, with many flowers, yellowish red outside and yellow at the lower part of the inner surface.
