1、 Growth habit of Osmanthus fragrans L
Osmanthus fragrans likes to grow in a warm and humid environment with moderate light, ventilation and shelter from the wind. It is suitable for growing in fertile and well drained slightly acidic soil, and has high temperature resistance and cold resistance. The optimum temperature for growth and development is 25 ℃ to 28 ℃. Over 30 ℃ has a slight effect on growth, and below - 6 ℃ may be affected by freezing injury.

1. The water management of potted Osmanthus fragrans is difficult. Excessive watering often leads to overgrowth, poor drainage and water accumulation in the basin are easy to cause rotten roots. Therefore, daily maintenance must pay attention to not more watering, even if more water is needed in the early flowering stage, the basin soil should be avoided to be too wet.
