Shelgren, a Swedish scientist, selected 55 healthy adults to study the benefits of yoga breathing. For six weeks, the subjects were divided into two groups. One group practiced yoga breathing for one hour a day, including slow, normal and rapid breathing. The other group took a 15 minute rest in the easy chair every day. The results showed that compared with the other group, the subjects who practiced yoga felt significantly lower anxiety, stress and depression, while their optimism index was relatively higher.

Professor sattiglu, who is in charge of the joint research group, said that yoga can not only prevent metabolic syndrome caused by unhealthy lifestyle, but also has good auxiliary effect in the event of disease attack.
