Many ways to use pumpkin

Pumpkin porridge, pumpkin cake and pumpkin vegetable are becoming more and more popular. Today, I'd like to share with you how to make pumpkin cake, so that you can also make pumpkin cake at home.

Practice:

1. Slice pumpkin and steam in electric cooker.

2. Add sugar and press into pumpkin puree while hot. Cool and set aside.

3. Pour the cooled pumpkin puree into the toaster barrel and add all other materials. (do not finish all the water at one time, because the way to cook the pumpkin is different and the water content of pumpkin puree is different, so the water quantity should be determined according to the actual situation.).

4. Stir into a paste of pumpkin batter; (in fact, you can directly use chopsticks to stir into a paste).

5. Spread a layer of butter (or salad oil) on the bottom and periphery of the mold, put the pumpkin batter into it, put it in a warm and humid place and ferment it to twice the size (I used a 6-inch Qifeng cake mold).

6. Fermented pumpkin batter, clean and dry the Lycium barbarum on the batter to put their favorite shape. Put it into the steamer, turn it on for 25 minutes, turn off the heat and simmer for another 5 minutes.

7. Cool the cake after it is put out of the oven; if the surface is wet (with sweat), pour the cake on the baking net. If it feels dry, you don't need to do so. Release the cake after it is cool.

8. After the cake is cooled, demould and cut into pieces.
