Did you inadvertently mistreat your child

Here is an example of serious consequences of 'psychological abuse'. Please read it carefully.

A fifth grade primary school student was reprimanded in public by his teacher for his poor performance in the math test and was fined three times to copy the test paper. Usually introverted, he was more depressed and alienated. He felt a sense of inexplicable fear in a math class. Later, it developed to tremble as long as it walked in the direction of the school. In class, I often felt dizzy and dizzy, and my ears always echoed the sharp rebuke of the teacher, which lasted like years. Finally, his parents had to call him off school.

This example, of course, is very different. However, in real life, when parents are angry with their children and teachers, they start to talk and train, and their words are mean. What kind of 'stupid', 'stupid' and 'useless' are they? This kind of inadvertent' psychological abuse 'is not uncommon.

Mental abuse can be roughly divided into the following categories:

1、 Erasing type. When children make mistakes, it is not to evaluate them as a whole, help them find out the reasons and encourage them to overcome difficulties. It is to wipe out all the past, criticize and scold, and sprinkle salt on the injured hearts of children. Such children often fail to recover and see no hope.

2、 Demeaning type. Pay no attention to children's minor progress, often hurt their self-esteem, belittle their academic performance, but do not let go of any fault. Causes the child to be sad, lacks the self-confidence, has no opinion.

3、 Apathy. Need to be indifferent to children, lack of intimacy and compassion. Their fault is not to help educate and guide patiently, but to take a cold attitude. How sad and lonely these children are.

4、 Compulsive type. Students (children) need not be considered at all. They are forced to act according to the will of teachers or parents. Even children's rights of defense, anger and resistance are deprived. These children tend to be timid, Cower and lack independence, which will be difficult to adapt to the complex social life.

Experts warn that 'mental abuse' is not advisable. As parents and school teachers, first of all, we should recognize the harm of 'mental abuse' to children, and realize that children's mental health is an important part of 'health'. Strengthen the cultivation of personality, gradually eliminate the bad habit of mental abuse, move children with patience and emotion, and try to convince people with reason and move people with emotion. Give children a harmonious and relaxed learning and living environment, so that they can really grow up healthily.
