When spraying pesticides on apples, plums, apricots, pears and other fruits, the pesticides will saturate the peel and remain in the wax of the peel, resulting in the pesticide residue in the peel much higher than that in the pulp. Now, Bordeaux solution, which is a suspension made of copper sulfate and lime milk, is widely used, with low cost and good insecticidal effect. The preparation of Bordeaux solution is simple, as long as copper sulfate and lime are mixed, and then water is added to dissolve it, but it is difficult to master the proportion of copper sulfate and lime.
If these blue and white spots are not removed, eating them into the body will easily cause abdominal pain, diarrhea and other toxic symptoms. Therefore, it is best to take the following methods to remove pesticide residues before eating fruit:
1. Bleaching powder disinfection method: soak in 0.2% bleaching powder solution for 5 minutes, then rinse with water.
