What psychological problems do post-90s college students have

Nowadays, the post-90s have entered the university campus, but not completely out of adolescence, some of them have psychological contradictions or confusion, these negative psychology often affect their healthy growth.

According to a survey report on college students after '90', most of them are weak in psychological quality, especially in their ability to resist pressure. 72.3% of the students said that their psychology would leave a shadow after encountering setbacks; 5.1% of the students said that they would be depressed; only 9.4% said they were willing to 'sum up experience and start from scratch'.

In addition, in the highly developed environment of information technology, the post-90s mainly rely on telephone, SMS, QQ and MSN in interpersonal communication, while the traditional communication methods such as party and letter are not favored. The survey results show that only 17.4% and 13.8% of the post-90s generation would like to make friends in this way. At the same time, 77.4% of the students felt that they lacked intimate friends and felt "inexplicably empty" and "helpless" because they had no one to talk to.

After '90', most of them are only children, often in the core position in the family. The doting of the elderly and the indulgence of parents make them lack the ability to resist setbacks. Once their needs are not met or the expected goals are not met, it is easy to feel frustrated. However, the lack of face-to-face communication with peers makes their interpersonal communication ability weak. They often take individual as the center and do not consider others' feelings. Therefore, when these children with distinctive personality gather in the big family of University, there will be various frictions. Introverts may also have depression due to lack of effective communication with classmates.

1. Interpersonal barriers

This may be the most common psychological barrier among college students after '90'. As most of them are only children, they grew up in love and love, and now people's communication is reduced, which makes them lack of direct contact and running in experience with their peers. But when they gather in a school, a class and a dormitory from all over the world, they inevitably have a series of frictions. And these frictions are likely to bring certain adverse effects to some people with poor psychological quality. Some also have certain social fear, such as fear of contact with people, fear of speaking in public, etc.

2. Loneliness and inferiority complex

Due to the change from the familiar environment to the unfamiliar environment, far away from the relatives and friends who get along with each other day and night, freshmen are easy to feel lonely. Many freshmen are the best in each school, but they find themselves very ordinary in the university campus. This gap makes them feel very lost and have a strong sense of inferiority.

3. Emotional problems

In the survey, 50.6% of the post-90s freshmen admitted that they had been in love once before entering university. Nearly 10% of them have talked about it many times. Although their emotional experiences seem richer, it doesn't mean they are no longer in love. Emotion is one of the most important problems that he or she is facing in University. Once there is a fluctuation, it will probably cause a lot of harm.

4. Employment Anxiety

People think that there seems to be no sense of responsibility after '90'. In fact, their sense of responsibility is relatively strong. In the survey, more than half of the college students can better understand the concept of 'responsibility' and dare to take responsibility. However, their enrollment coincides with the expansion of university enrollment, graduation and financial crisis, resulting in a decline in the employment rate of college students. In addition, many freshmen's life goals are not clear, which virtually increases their employment anxiety.

More and more people have paid attention to the psychological problems after '90', because they will eventually become the core force of society, and the attention to them is also the concern for social development. It is hoped that, while analyzing their psychological status, we can get better treatment methods to help them get through the psychological crisis smoothly after '90', instead of attacking their behavior and psychological problems with too many negative words.
